It was a chilling 31 degrees at Happy Akers that morning. The normal heavy fog swarmed the lands around the farm. Even though the cold and fog were bad the staff still had alot to do that day but all that could wait.

The entire staff at Happy Akers were estates to find out that they had won the buckskin sabino thoroughbred and they were itching to see what the stallion could do.

They desided that Rowg would be the one to ride him around the track and Nick would be on Apache to see how competative they were.

So both teenagers headed to the stable to get there mounts and tack. Even though Nick had been in the Happy Akers juvinale program for almost a year now Rowg still couldn't get the older teen to talk to her when she wanted but only when he wanted........and truth be told she liked the hot-tempered teen quite alot.

But she had no idea how the black haired teen felt about anything let alone her. But one thing was surtin he favored the trouble making horses on the farm.

They were greated with welcoming neighs from the stalls as they entered the stable. Jensen had his own stall in the back were the only horse next to him was bullet. They found out that they shouldn't put any erritable horses next to the stud because it would be a raging battle between them in less than a few minutes.

But the only horses Jensen would put up with was Bullet. The first thing the stallion did was challenge the older horse and was put in his place in a matter of seconds. For some strange reason Bullet had desided to take the roudy stallion under his wing. So......now Bullet was Jensen's babysitter so to speak.

The stallions were somewhat ok to tack as long as it didn't take to long to do something. just a few times bullet had to let out a warning growl as the studs started to get into a kick fight, but once they left the stable the horses wen't into race mode.

It was easy for both of the teens to mount and get the horses into the starting gates. The bell range and the gate doors slambed open. The two stallions bolted out of them. as soon as they caught site of the other stallion a heated race began.

Rowg made a mental note to put blideres on the stallions when racing. She was enjoying the ride though, Jensen had a rath good gate to him and wasn't bouncy at all.

The fog was thick and as far as Rowg could tell they were in the lead as she herd pounding hooves be hind her. it stayed that way as they past the finish line. Both studs came to a simple walk as they walked back to the stable. Rowg had a grin placed all across her face "I think Jensen here is more than cable of being a threat....don't you think?" She pat the stallions neck and grinned at the other teen.

He didn't respond but a small smile tugged at his lips. which in return made Rowg's happens grow.

He found out he's got mad fighting skills.....not too sure where that came from, but Bullet has made it is proud responsibility to keep this colt in his place and under his wing.
